Mama Esther (R) says the two made the comments ignorantly
Gospel musician, Mama Esther has responded to gospel duo, Willie and Mike claim that her song ‘Kyekyere No Ma Me’ should not be classified as a gospel song.
She claimed the gospel duo ignorantly commented on her song without making any thorough research in the Bible.
Explaining the inspiration behind her ‘Kyekyere No ma me’ song, Deaconess Esther made reference to the Bible text Revelation 20:1-3, but emphasized on the verse three (3) which states that “He threw him (Satan) into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time.”
According to her, all the songs she has composed were inspired by the Bible.
“Some artistes make derogatory remarks about their own colleagues which later bring serious strife between them but what I will encourage many to do as it is written in the Bible is to speak wisely. All my songs are backed with Bible verses.”
Willie and Mike had disclosed on Zylofon FM, that Mama Esther’s ‘Kyekyere No Ma Me’ and Patience Nyarko’s ‘Eboboba’ songs are not gospel.
They explained that a gospel music should exalt God and make Him the center of all situations.
