Ghanaian actor, Kofi Adu, popularly known as Agya Koo has disclosed that the problems regarding the creative arts sector is enormous.

According to him, the problem concerning the movie industry was created by directors, cast and marketers of movies.

” Government can’t solve our problems , because the problem were created by our movie directors, crew members, marketers, actors and actresses”. People Sat down and agreed on bringing my brand down. My refusal to go nude on screen whilst shooting Okomfo Anoakye movie was the beginning of it all and If the Government gives us money today, we will still fight because we are not united. He bitterly lamented.

“If Indian movies are now translated into our local dialect, then I believe my own online Streaming Television will do the magic by resurrecting local content and by far am heavier than every male Ghanaian actor in the country.

“One could argue, why then do you agree to Ministry Of Tourism And Creative Arts offer to build an online Streaming Television for you if government can’t solve problems in the Creative Arts Industry.” Agya Koo told SVTV Africa.

Meanwhile, the much anticipated Agya Koo Tv was officially launched on Sunday, February 4, by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Arts in Partnership with 2C Television at the Accra Mall.

The Online Streaming Television is designed to have contents of only Agya Koo on Google PlayStore and Apple PlayStore respectively and is said to generate money as network providers charge subscribers.
