Television Presenter, Tima Yeboah was robbed at gun point last week Friday, January 19, 2018.
The incident happened at around 11:30pm when the host of popular Television series ‘KumKum Bhagya’ was heading home with her driver.
Yeboah encountered the armed robbers at New Bortianor, a suburb of Accra, after the U-turn at the Westhills Mall when she stepped out of her car to help someone she thought needed help.
One of the two people who attacked her was lying on the floor whilst the other was by the road side supposedly asking for help.
She told blogger Zionfelix Adomako, she asked her driver to bypass the man on the road because she was sure it was a set-up. Her driver however asked that they help because he suspected they might be in trouble.
She added that the man on the floor pulled a gun on them immediately they stopped and asked that they give everything they have on them to him. She had no option but to give a sum of 1, 2000 cedis to the robber.
The robbers exited quickly after they saw a police patrol team approaching the scene.
Yeboah has since reported the case to the Police.
