Big Brother Amplified – Getting Into Character

The cast of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ have nothing on the Big Brother Amplified housemates this week, as they get to grips with their hospital drama task, St Nowhere.

There has been some screaming, a few tantrums, some kisses gone wrong, a rather amusing stripper pole and even a bearded lady …

Alex, oh Alex, how pretty you look in your little nurse’s uniform, pity about the beard and all!

Playing a female character, Alex was decked out in a wig when he told his fellow St Nowhere characters not to make fun of the beard, saying that in her home country it was a sign of sexual potency!

Oh well, guess we’ll have to take your word for it Alex!

Hospital Drama

Biggie’s houses will both be transformed into drama-fuelled hospital wards, complete with emergency disasters and complicated love affairs.

Each housemate has been assigned a character and Biggie has provided props and uniforms for authenticity.

The BBA hospital certainly doesn’t look like any hospital I’ve ever seen! Perhaps when the show’s over, Biggie can donate those colourful couches to our very own State hospital. It might brighten the place up a bit.

Well, one can hope.

Seems the roles assigned to housemates were either done to exaggerate their characters or bring out one completely opposite to their own.

Love our girl Bernadina’s tight little nurse’s uniform, definitely brings out her inner vixen! Bet sick guys all over Africa are wishing their ‘Night Nurses’ looked more like she does at the moment! Can’t say I blame them, the sexy uniform is certainly doing things for her ample cleavage …

Both Berna and Hanni play the same role in the Heads and Tails house, that of the rather naughty nurse Ratchett, whose probably having a very hot and heavy affair with one of St Nowhere’s hunky doctors.

Think McSteamy and McDreamy, roles aptly played by resident BBA hotties, Wendall and Luclay.

Actor and acting coach Luclay has taken to this task with all the vigour we would expect, throwing in some improv to the mix, which not all housemates quite understand.

Had to laugh on Tuesday night as Nic carefully tried to explain to the bimbo-ish Karen what exactly improvisation meant!

The task also sees Weza and Miss P flaunting their inner Femme Fatales as hospital manageresses, Conception.

Perhaps the task got to Miss P who had a weirdmeltdown on Tuesday night. I myself didn’t get to witness the spectacle but my sources reliably inform me she was yelling and screeching like a woman scorned.

Apparently it started as a joke but her fellow housemates didn’t seem to find it funny at all and eventually tired of her tirade and locked her out of the bedroom.

I know the house is designed to drive people crazy but this little outburst of Miss P’s was a bit too ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’ for most to deal with. Then she came up with some weird story, telling Karen she did it to find out who had her back, mmmhhmmm – no longer too sure about Miss P’s sanity.

Girl on Girl Action

Yesterday, housemates were handed a script by Biggie which called for a bit of lip-locking action.

This seemed to inspire funny reactions in some housemates, while others are scared – think virginal Wendall. A few were angry at kisses gone too far, like Mumba who felt Luclay’s mouth-to-mouth resuscitation had a bit too much tongue action.

Vina and Weza, on the other hand, almost got temperatures hitting the roof as they leaned in for a bit of girl-on-girl action.

However, the lovely ladies were simply demonstrating the correct technique for a TV kiss. The two girls joined hands and sucked on their own thumbs while pretending to kiss.

Don’t know about you guys but a bit of girl-on-girl action would have been a lot better than what they sucked out of their thumbs!
