Striker Saihou Jagne helped in sealing BP a place to the Sven cup final scoring twice against Gefle.
It is the clubs’ first silverware attempt since relegating from the top tier last season. Jagne made his Scorpion debut against Equatorial Guinea; poked in a brace to wrap up a 3-1 after team-mate Nabouli opened the score earlier.
Nabouli started the rampage with an opener goal in the 33rd minute on a night Saihou had his toll of goals.
First, Saihou capitalized on his speed to beat the defense before slicing a shot at the visiting side’s goalkeeper to account for his first of the match.
Jagne added another to put results beyond Gefle. Left unmarked by the opposing side’s defense set up, Jagne did not hesitate to slot home yet another goal in what turned out to be a cool breezing night for the 24-year-old.However, Gefle grabbed a consolation goal but it wasn’t enough to change the results.
