Jordan Ayew Mourns Marseille Defeat To Lyon

Olympique Marseille midfielder Jordan Ayew has mourned the team’s 3-2 defeat at Lyon but wants the team to quickly focus on the future and work towards retaining the title.

Jordan set up Lucho González for Marseille’s first consolation goal on the 70th five minutes after he had come on as a substitute for Valbuena.

Marseille are now four points shy of leaders Lille and will need to win all remaining four games to put in a challenge to retain their trophy.

The 19-year-old believes Marseille should have won the tie. “Last tonight was a lot of regrets because we had done the hard part. Unfortunately, we conceded a third goal.” He however believes there is still hope for the title.
