Muntari, on loan from Inter scored his maiden goal for the Black Cats in Saturday’s 2-1 win over Bolton Wanderers at the Reebok Stadium from a dramatic scene when he forced Zat Knight to force home his goal-bound shot.
And who has reportedly decided not to make a move for the 26-year-old on permanent basis said the goal was long overdue for Muntari but it came at the right moment.
