Four people were injured when a driver lost control of a vehicle travelling along the R562 Summit Road in Diepsloot on Saturday, paramedics said.
The car left the road and ploughed into a ditch causing a woman passenger to be ejected through the windscreen on impact, Netcare 911 spokesman Jeffrey Wicks said.
The woman was critically injured after she sustained head and chest trauma.
She, and the other three injured people, were taken to the Tembisa State Hospital in Ekurhuleni. – Sapa
