Senegalese-American singer and music producer, Akon has signed three of Nigeria’s top musicians, Tuface Idibia, Wizkid, and P-Square duo to his Konvict Music label.
The news has not been officially confirmed yet because they are not yet listed on Konvict Music website and Akon or the artistes are yet to make formal announcement.
Though Akon tweeted;
In Nigeria with my brothers about to take over Africa@2faceidibia and @ wizkidayo bigup to P-Square.
It would be recall that earlier this year,Kanye West also signed D’Banj unto his G.O.O.D Music Label.
Congratulations guys !

Hope this (the signing) turns out real & official,it will be an added feather to the cap of the likes-2face,the incredible duo-P-Square & wizkid. And to a large extent to the blossoming Nigeria music industry (though facing piracy challenges @ the moment). Indeed Naija arts are going places these days & i strongly believe it’s healthy for Naija music industry & the entertainment industry in extention. BIG UPS TO NAIJA ARTS!!! Keep the fly flying…, PEACE….. !!!
