Tottenham midfielder Giovani dos Santos future lies away from the club with Valencia and Udinese joining the race for his signature.
According to Sky Sports, the Mexican, who spent last season on loan at Racing Santander, is attracting interest from the La Liga giants.
Sevilla are also interested in the winger, but in a loan capacity, with president Jose Maria del Nido telling the Spanish press that Spurs were looking for a permanent deal
“Tottenham want a sale but at the moment Sevilla are only interested in a loan with the first option to buy,” Del Nido revealed.
“This is the problem because the subject is complicated.”
The Spanish club’s problem would give fellow La Liga team Valencia and Serie A club Udinese a chance to steal a march in the race to sign the 22-year-old, with their La Liga rivals looking for potential replacements should Juan Mata leave the club, despite their insistence that the player is not for sale.
The Mexican joined Spurs in 2008 for £4.7m from Spanish champions Barcelona, but has only made 10 league appearances for the club.
He has been out on loan at Ipswich, Galatasaray and Racing Santander in his three seasons at White Hart Lane, and has 50 caps for his country – scoring five goals in 16 appearances for Mexico this season alone.
