Former Brazilian Statesman Impressed By Housing Policy

    Luanda — The former Brazilian Statesman, Luís Inácio Lula da Silva said on Friday in Luanda that Angola is on good way for the development, by creating infrastructures that secure the population’s well-being.

    Lula da Silva said so to the press during a visit he paid to the new town of Kilamba Kiaxi, where 20.000 flats are being built.

    Accompanied by the Angolan President’s secretary, Rosa Escórcio Pacavira de Matos and co-ordinator for the Population’s Rehousing Programme, the former Brazilian Head of State was informed about the pace of the project.

    The former Brazilian Statesman is impressed by the projects and he highlighted the effort of the Angolan executive in the betterment of the social and housing standard of the population.

    Lula da Silva is in Angola since Thursday in the framework of the 10the founding anniversary celebrations of Centre for Strategic Studies of Angola (CEEA).
