Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI), the parent company of the Ecobank Group, has inaugurated a multi-million dollar corporate headquarters in the Togolese capital, Lome.

The Ecobank Pan African Centre, which was inaugurated by the Togolese President, Faure Essozimna Gnassingbe, was built at a cost of nearly $30 million.

Mr. Gnassingbe said in his inaugural address that the site was a concrete manifestation of production and trade globalization. That, he said, was another lesson that Ecobank had demonstrated that it was standing tall among its peers.

According to the Togolese President, Ecobank is a model in the landscape of universal banking architecture that is characterised by growth, which had progressed year on year.

The Ecobank Pan African Centre is set on a 42,180 square metres plot on the Boulevard du Mono Street, Togo’s main arterial road. It is a seven-storey building with a total floor space of 5,000 square metres and provides one of the most modern office environments in the region.

It has a 480-seat conference auditorium built to international standards and incorporating the latest technology.

The Chairman of Ecobank Transnational, Mr Kolapo Lawson, said Ecobank had over time grown from a fledgling to a successful multinational bank.

The newly constructed centre has a training facility that is focused on the development of senior and middle management with a faculty and curriculum based on international best standards.
