Shabelle Media Network (Mogadishu) 22 June 2011 Mogadishu — Parents in Somalia's Mogadishu on Wednesday asked for urgent help for their son who was badly injured yesterday's roadside bomb attack targeting to AMISOM but missed. The injured son is said to be in critical condition and in need for urgent health care help, according to hospital doctors and parents.

Bosaso — After extensive security crackdown in Bari region in Somalia’s semi-autonomous state of Puntland, more 40 local clan elders arrestedss by the security forces.

Most of the operations took place in Bosaso, Puntland commercial hub, according to eyewitnesses in the town.

Puntland security officials say the elders were accused of inciting clan related grudges that claimed the lives of so many people.

At least two well-known businessmen were recently killed in the center of port town of Bosaso.

In what the local residents described as revenge attack, armed clan militiamen sprayed worshippers with bullets in a mosque in Somalia’s semi-autonomous state of Puntland, killing at least four and wounding two others.
