Luanda — Namibian president, Hifikepunye Lucas Pohamba was impressed with the efforts conducted by the Angolan Executive (Government) aiming at developing a habitable, urbanized area, with dignity and pride for whole Africa.

During his visit to post-colonial era new city centre in Kilamba Kiaxi, in Luanda, at the company of the Angolan Foreign Affairs minister, Georges Chikoti, Lucas Pohamba received detailed explanations about the works on the infrastructure, took a look to the draft project and visited a building and a primary school.

On the occasion, the Angolan minister of Urbanism and Construction, Fernando Fonseca, told the press that “we are giving an example to all Africa concerning the perspective of our youth expecting a development opportunity and this housing complex comes to show our commitment with youth and population” he said.

Lucas Pohamba is paying an official visit to Angola aimed at strengthening the bilateral cooperation ties between both neighbouring countries.
