After enjoying a short stint with South African side Kaizer Chiefs, Uganda Cranes striker Emmanuel Okwi is on the brink of joining the Premier Soccer League (PSL) giants.
Daily Monitor has learnt that Kaizer Chiefs were impressed with the young forward during the week he spent there just before the end of last season.
The 20-year-old is presently a player at Tanzanian giants Simba, who snatched him from SC Villa in 2009.
Okwi recently broke into the Cranes fold after showing his predatory skills with four goals at the Cecafa Challenge Cup last year in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
He is due for a medical at the end of this month.
