Benguela — Staff of the police command of the central Benguela province ended with success on Thursday a seminar on community policing.
The closing ceremony of the event was chaired by the local commander, Commissioner António Sita.
Addressed to chiefs of sectors, the seminar was aimed at improving the services of the corporation in the region and it was attended by 197 people.
During three days, the participants debated themes on criminal prevention, patrolling and police intervention, reaction and participation of community in the security.
Speaking to Angop, Commissioner António Sita considered as important the holding of the event for chiefs of sectors, and therefore it is needed for them to review their attitude and work before the population.
