Lubango — The Audit Court has accepted the admission and the promotion of a total of 3,339 public servants in the southern Huila Province, whose files have been validated by the court’s chairman, Juliao António.
The ceremony, which took place in the premises of the provincial government in the presence of the deputy governor for political and social matters, José Arão, served to confirm the admission of 2,517 employees in the sectors of education, health, territory administration, welfare and social reintegration.
In the same process, 808 employees were promoted to the categories of third class social carers, educators, activists, first and second class technicians.
Still in the ambit of this process, the Audit Court turned down 25 files for several reasons, such as incomplete documentation, lack of clarity, incorrect filling in of forms and for fake documentation.
On the occasion, the Audit Court chief, Juliao António, expressed his satisfaction at the good work being done by Huila Province, both in the sector of human resources and in infrastructures.
He stressed that he believes that this process responds to the expectations of those that have resorted to the public service for employment and those that have been in it as for some time and awaited their promotion.
Juliao António also revealed that the admission process is satisfactory, because most of the new employees are young people who will bring different dynamics into the public service.
ANGOP has learnt that Huila Province’s department of public administration, employment and social security has registered over 50,000 candidates to the public service.
