Armed Forces Chief Inspects Eastern Military Region

Saurimo — The Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) Chief of Staff, general Geraldo Sachipengo Nunda, worked Wednesday in Lunda Sul Province, and inspected in Saurimo the work of the military structures at the third division of infantry, part of the Eastern Military Region.

In an interview to the press, at the end of a meeting with the officers, the general said that the visit is part of a series of meeting already held in other military units of the country.

General Geraldo Sachipengo Nunda recognised that the institution is working according to the rules of the Angolan Armed Forces.

During the visit of a few hours, gen. Sachipengo Nunda travelled also to the 31st Brigade, situated in Namuana locality, surroundings of Saurimo, having later on moved to the neighbouring Lunda Norte Province for identical task.
