Mogadishu — The district commissioner of Mogadishu’s Dharkenley, Moallim Abdulle Hilowle said that the security of Somali interim government on Wednesday started search operations in the district.
Mr. Hilowle said the operations are aimed at assuring the security in the capital, and the Dharkenley district in particular.
He stated that they had seized un-specified number of suspects and were taken into custody for further investigations.
In the last few days, insecurity has been rampant in the district. On Tuesday, bullet riddled bodies of two teens were discovered.
But, the district commissioner said that he didn’t know the incident.
