Luanda — The Cuban first vice-minister of Culture, Rafael Bernal, said to be deeply impressed by the Medium Institute of Plastic Arts, located in Benfica commune, Samba district.
Speaking to the press, at the end of the visit to the Medium Institute facilities, Rafael Bernal said that the work has a well drawn innovator architecture, designed to meet the challenges in training the new personnel in the speciality of plastic arts.
The first vice-minister of Culture suggested that the project should also be extended to the other provinces with a view to preserve the culture and the identity of the Angolan people, characterised by habits, ways and different customs.
Speaking on the curricular training, the officials underlined that the governments of Angola and Cuba have celebrated an accord providing for the training of Angolan teachers by Cuban experts.
The institute comprises three storeys.
