Kampala — Bunnamwaya coach Edward Golola will demand an improvement when they face Victors as Kampala City Council (KCC) visit Utoda in the Ecobank Super League, today.

Coming off a 1-0 loss to Utoda, this is an important step for Golola to prepare his side for the Cecafa Kagame Cup in Tanzania next month. “I would want to see a positive response,” Golola said ahead of the game at Nakivubo stadium. “This has been a baffling season with lots of inconsistency from some players.”

Unlike last season where Bunnamwaya only lost two games, the outgoing champions suffered seven defeats as their title defence failed to take off in this campaign. “Our target now is to represent Uganda soundly at Kagame Cup,” he added. His opponents are currently ravaged by injuries. “We have had a decent season and we should finish it strongly,” Victors coach George ‘Best’ Nsimbe noted.

In the other encounter, Matia Lule can cement second place at Wankulukuku after Utoda survived relegation in the week. “I am happy with what we have done this season. I doubt many gave us a chance of the title. We can only build on this,” Lule said.
