Luanda — A three-year-old child was killed on Thursday afternoon, by a passenger train of Luanda Railway (CFL), at Viana district in Luanda.
ANGOP learned Friday by the spokesperson of the Provincial Command of National Police, Inspector Nestor Biz Goubel that the accident occurred around 2pm when the train was on Viana/Musseques route.
According to information from witnesses, the victim was walking with her mother, but unexpectedly ran into the railway line at a time when the train was in motion.
This is the second accident registered this year in the same way (Musseques/Viana). The officer of the corporation advised citizens moving along the rail line to pay more attention to the approaching train.
