Luanda — The special envoy of the Prime Minister of Australia, Neil Mules, Monday, in Luanda, expressed his confidence in the growth of cooperation between Angola and Australia in all sectors, with particular emphasis on the political and commercial fields.
“I am confident that in the coming months we will see a very significant growth in relations between our two countries, ” said the envoy at the end of an audience granted to him by the Angolan minister of Foreign Affairs, George Rebelo Chicoty.
Speaking to the Angolan press, the representative of Australian Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, said he was appointed by his government as an envoy sent in the context of Australia’s strategy to further diversify and strengthen relations with all African countries, especially the Portuguese-speaking ones those speaking, just like Angola.
