Luanda — The Angolan mobile phone operator Unitel has recently signed an agreement in Russia, with that country’s MTS/Mobile TeleSystems Company, with the aim of broadening its roaming services.
The information comes on a press note issued by Unitel, which states that with this partnership the customers of this company will be able to check their E-mails, use the Internet and other operations in their mobile phones and computers when they travel to Russia.
According to the document, the same will happen with customers of the referred Russian company when travelling to Angola.
With this move, Unitel now has thirty agreements with foreign companies in the field of roaming services, and this includes countries like Portugal, South Africa, Belgium Holland, Mozambique, United Arab Emirates, Venezuela, Brazil, USA, Switzerland, DR Congo, France, Egypt, Norway, Tanzania, and now Russia.
Unitel has recently reached the mark of six million customers and this year it is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
