Super Eagles’ Head Coach, Samson Siasia will Thursday afternoon at the Media Centre of the National Stadium, Abuja unveil his list of players for the high-profile international friendly against Argentina and the African Cup of Nations qualifier against Ethiopia.

The World Press Conference, scheduled for 2pm, is to start shortly after Siasia would have finished defending the list before members of the Technical Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation at the Glass House.

The Guinness packaged match, comes up eight years after the Super Eagles clashed with another South American and global giant, Brazil in an international friendly also at the National Stadium, Abuja on June 11th. It was the first big game at the then newly-constructed National Stadium, with the Eagles losing 3-0.

Argentina’s Head Coach, Sergio Batista, who also squared off against Siasia in the final match of the 2008 Olympic Games Men’s Football Tournament in Beijing, China released his team list for the game on Monday.

Siasia will use the same set of players for Guinness The Match as well as the 2012 African Nations Cup qualifier against Ethiopia in Addis Ababa on Sunday, June 5th.

Meanwhile, the security committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will hold a crucial meeting with the Nigerian Police and State Security Service (SSS) Friday on the security plan for the friendly match against Argentina.

Chairman of the committee, Johnson Effiong said the meeting was necessary as it would address all security challenges that may be tied to the successful organisation of the match.

He said that the federation would be seeking the support of the security agencies in key areas like stadium crowd control and general security measures around the teams at the hotels and at practice sessions.
