Luanda — A delegation of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), headed by its assistant chief of general staff for operational and development area, George Barros “Nguto, ” Wednesday, left for the Republic of Zambia, to attend the 19th Meeting of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Defence and Security Organ.
Speaking to Angop, at the 4th de Fevereiro International Airport, General George de Barros said that at the three-day meeting the experts will discuss issues related to the specific areas of the armed forces of SADC member countries.
Experts will be present at the meeting of the various branches of the Armed Forces, including Army, Air Force and Navy.
SADC comprises Angola, Namibia, South Africa, Lesotho, Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Madagascar, Swaziland, Mozambique, Tanzania, DRC, Malawi and Mauritius.
