Luanda — Angola’s athletics junior team are participating on May 12-15, in the African championship of the category in Botswana, ANGOP has learnt.
The athletes will compete in 200, 800, 1,500 and 10,000 meters, says the chairman of the federation of this sport, Carlos Rosa.
The athletes are Felismina Cavela, Severino Vicente, Simão Matias of ARA team from Gabela, Prisca Baltazar and Ervin Alver, from Benfica of Portugal.
The delegation is being led by the deputy chairman of the federation of referees and timekeepers, Manuel Afredo.
