Khartoum — Vice-President of the Republic, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, has affirmed the firmness of the Sudanese – Egyptian relations in political, economic and cultural fields. This came when Taha met at his office at the premises of the Council of Ministers Sunday the visiting delegation of the Egyptian political forces, led by the Chairman of Al-Wafd Party, Sayed Al-Badawi, in the presence of the Presidential Advisor and Secretary General of the National Congress (NC) External Affairs Office, Dr. Mustafa Osman Ismail.
Al-Badawi said in a press statement that the meetings of the delegation with the government senior officials and the leaders of the political parties were characterized by fraternity and cordiality, referring to the distinguished relations between the peoples of the Nile Valley. He said that Taha affirmed the keenness to reactivate the Four Freedoms Agreement toward consolidating the cooperation between the two countries, asserting Sudan commitment to the implementation of the agreement on the ground.
