Luanda — Angolan Minister of Transport, Augusto Tomás, inaugurated on Thursday the new Taxiway of Luanda’s 4 de Fevereiro International Airport and other airport management facilities.
Speaking to the press at the end of the inauguration ceremony, the minister said that new areas were built in the ambit of the modernization programme of the airport.
According to him the taxiway is an added value because it will enable the reduction of air traffic.
Taxiway is a lane of an airport runway where airplanes may turn and park.
Also attending the event was the minister of Transport, Augusto Tomás, employees of the Ministry, of the National Company of Air navigation and Airport Management (Enana) and of other institutions working at the airport.
