Mogadishu — Some of Somali government forces clashed themselves in the Somali capital Mogadishu, witnesses said on Thursday.
At least two people were killed and three others injured after the forces battled at the center of Mogadishu’s KM4 intersection.
The two people who died in the clash were among Somali soldiers and witnesses said the wounded people have been immediately rushed to the hospitals in Mogadishu for treatment.
The factor behind the clash of Somali government soldiers remains unclear, but, it not the first time.
During the clash, all businesses, public buses and the movement of the ordinary people were put on hold, though calm later returned.
However, fighting on Thursday comes two days after 5 people, mainly soldiers were killed and several others wounded in a clash akin this.
