Demba Savage was the hero of the night as he stirred Honka to a 3-0 victory over Tampere United to win Finnish League Cup.

The speedy midfield-winger bagged in a brace after team-mate Otaru opened the scores in the first-half.

Demba watched his effort rattle on the crossbar five minutes after the opener but the Gambian was not to be denied this time as he flickered in a brilliant finish to double the scores in the 67th minute of the second-half.

Savage did not rest until Tampere were as he added another in the 79th minute to complete a double, and came close to poking in a hat-trick minutes from time had his effort not went wide.

Savage top the League Cup scoring chart on seven goals and looks to head on with his scoring feat into the premier league when the league starts.
