Amadou Jawo was on target for Elfsborg in the weekend halting Malmo fine unbeaten run with a 3-0 routing.
Malmo are handed their first beaten of the season, and this pushed them from the apex of the league to third position though are equal on points with leaders Norrkopings who led by goal difference.
Jawo came on as a substitute in the 67th minute for Nielsson and got on the score sheet a minute to time as Elfsborg wrap up a resounding 3-0 win over Malmo. The late homer is Jawo’s first season goal in four league games.
Uncapped Gambian striker Joe Sise is still serving a suspension for a red card he had in Halmstad previous game and was thus not listed in their one-all stalemate with Trelleborg.
Pa Dembo Touray stood between the sticks for Djurgardens but did little to safe his slumping side as they suffered yet another hammering to leaders Norrkopingon on a 3-1 scoreline. Defender Kebba Ceesay played the entire game. Djurgardens are third from bottom in the Allvenskan.
