Khartoum — The Secretary General of the National Council for Child Welfare, Utica Gamar Habani, pointed out that the council is working to reunite the homeless childrenShe announced in a statement to SUNA the success of the council in reuniting some 70 children in the past period, saying that the council is working to locate the homeless families and their states in order to send them to the Ministries of Welfare in the concerned states.
She said that the Homeless Children Reunification Project is being implemented by the National Network for Reunification of Children, an affiliate of the National Council for Children Welfare in collaboration with the Council of Family, Women and Children in Khartoum State, the UNICEF, the Swedish Save the Children and a number of voluntary organizations to set up a plan for the coming period for uniting the homeless children with their familiesThe Secretary General of the National Council for Child Welfare, Ustaza Gamar Habani, called on the states to cooperate with the council in order to make a success the unification project.
