Schalke midfielder Jose Manuel Jurado is confident that his side can still reach the Champions League final despite losing 2-0 in the first-leg of their last four encounter against Manchester United.
The former Atletico Madrid player was helpless from preventing his side losing in Germany on Tuesday evening but remains positive that Schalke are not yet out of Europe’s elite club competition.
“You always have to fight. Nothing is decided until the referee signals the final 90 minutes of the second-leg. We are in the semis and we must give everything,” the player told TVE.
The Spaniard was also quizzed on the other semi-final between Real Madrid and Barcelona.
“It’s a classic the game between Madrid and Barcelona. Hopefully, it will be a great game with good football but I will not say who I think will win.”
