Lee Westwood Westwood celebrated his 38th birthday with victory in Jakarta

England’s Lee Westwood maintained his attempt to reclaim the world number one spot by winning the Indonesian Masters.

The victory means the 38-year-old will reclaim top spot if third-round leader Donald fails to win The Heritage tournament in the United States.

Westwood went into the final day with a five-stroke lead but that was cut to one as he was level par through 10.

But three birdies coming home was enough for a total of 19 under, three clear of Thailand’s Thongchai Jaidee.

    More to follow.
