Luanda — A four-kilometre race dubbed “pure university marathon” will be held on 23 April in Luanda, in order to re-launch the athletics sport in higher education institutions.
This was said to Angop on Tuesday in Luanda by the secretary general of the Angolan Athletics Federation (FAA), Mota Gomes.
He said that the race will start at the square of the premises of Luanda government and it end in Cidadela stadium.
The race, destined for university students, is jointly organised by FAA and by the University Students Association.
This is the first race of this kind promoted by both organs.
