Wall only managed to play 12 holes on Sunday

Anthony Wall’s bid to win the Sicilian Open will last for another 24 hours as play was extended into Monday following bad weather in the final round.

Wall lies on 10 under, one shot behind playing partner and tournament leader Raphael Jacquelin, with their final round progress halted after 12 holes.

Third placed Jose Manuel Lara is piling on the pressure, four under for the day having played just nine holes.

England’s Jamie Elsom lies fifth, five shots off the lead on six under par.
