    • Claims police responded after Sheen threatened to harm himself with gun
    • Police have been investigating star for ‘illegal activity’ which could relate to drugs and weapons
    • Claims Sheen has breached restraining obtained by his ex Mueller by possessing a weapon
    • Actor and estranged wife have ‘thrashed out custody deal over twin sons’

Charlie Sheen is playing down the police raid on his Los Angeles home earlier today, claiming reports they were searching for firearms and drugs were false and in fact officers were ‘protecting him’.

Writing on his official Twitter this morning, he said: ‘All good here on homefront. All reports are false. I’ll explain more very soon.’

He added: ‘The LAPD were AWESOME. Absolute pros! they can protect and serve this Warlock anytime!’

In what is being described as a ‘pre-planned raid’, the LAPD and other law enforcement agencies demanded  entry to his luxury Beverly Hills mansion and were searching for firearms and ammunition, according to U.S. reports.

Celebrity website TMZ claims officers were conducting an investigation into alleged criminal activity which could include drugs or weapons.

A source initially told the website that police may be attempting to admit Sheen to a psychiatric ward on an
involuntary 5150 psychiatric hold – although TMZ later reported this was not the case.

    A
Section 5150 allows a qualified officer or clinician to involuntary
confine a person deemed to have a mental disorder that makes them a
danger to him or her self, and/or others.

In a statement earlier today, LAPD confirmed: ‘I
can confirm police are there, but we’re not releasing further details at
the moment,’ spokeswoman Norma Eisenman told People.com.

People.com reports there are ‘two or three police cars’ outside the property and that there was no 911 call.

    One
reason for the raid could be because Sheen allegedly violated the
temporary restraining order obtained by his estranged wife Brooke
Mueller, which prohibits him from possessing weapons.

On Monday Sheen was pictured on the
roof of the Live Nation building in Beverly Hills, along with girlfriend
    Natalie Kenly, brandishing a machete.

Another report on TMZ claims police
received an alarming report call earlier in the day that Charlie
threatened to harm himself with a gun.

    The
raid comes amid reports of Sheen and Mueller have struck a custody deal
over their 23-month old twin sons Bob and Max earlier tonight.

‘Brooke and Charlie have reached an
agreement that resolves their differences,” lawyers for Sheen and
    Mueller told RadarOnline.com.

‘For the benefit of the children, the terms of their agreement will not be disclosed.

It means the couple will not need to appear in court today to thrash out the agreement, the website reported.

Last week police attended Sheen’s home
and removed his twin boys from his custody after Mueller obtained a restraining order.

Meanwhile, Sheen has filed a lawsuit against Warner Bros.and Two
And A Half Men creator Chuck Lorre, for $100 million earlier in the day.

    Twitter
blast: Sheen took to his Twitter account today to declare his
excitement about the new lawsuit against Chuck Lorre and Warner Bros.

As the news broke, he tweeted: ‘#Fastball; Torpedo away… You corporate trolls were warned. And now you’ve been served!’

He is demanding to be paid for eight episodes of the show and is suing on behalf of the cast and crew.

His lawyer, Marty Singer directly addressed Lorre in the written lawsuit.

    Singer
also claims that the decision to cancel the show came before Sheen
criticised Lorre and that they were using the actor’s bizarre antics as a
    subsequent scapegoat.

Lorre’s lawyer has now fired back, branding Sheen’s lawsuit a ‘fantasy ‘lottery’ pay-day for Charlie Sheen.’

Howard Weitzman told TMZ: ‘The allegations in the complaint against
Mr. Lorre are as recklessly false and unwarranted as Mr. Sheen’s
    rantings in the media.’

The lawsuit states: ‘Chuck Lorre, one
of the richest men in television who is worth hundreds of millions of
dollars, believes himself to be so wealthy and powerful that he can
unilaterally decide to take money away from the dedicated cast and crew
of the popular television series, Two and a Half Men, in order to serve
his own ego and self-interest, and make the star of the Series the
    scapegoat for Lorre’s own conduct.

Responding: Sheen’s former Two And  Half Men co-star has made a joke about being branded a ‘troll’ by him during an appearance on Conan O’Brien’s show

Sheen’s co-star Jon Cryer has finally responded to the star’s ‘very painful’ attack on him – joking: ‘I AM a troll.’

Sheen lashed out at his Two and a
Half Men co-star as a ‘Turncoat, a Traitor, a Troll’ for not speaking up
to defend him in his current crisis.

But Cryer finally broke his silence in a surprise appearance on Conan O’Brien’s – and turned the attack in comedy gold.

Pretending to be choking on his
words, Cryer started by saying: ‘Those words were very painful to me for
many reasons,’ he said, before adding: ‘The fact is, I AM a troll.’

As his troll image was flashed up, he
also outed Paul Giamatti and Helen Mirren as trolls – and joked about
feeling ‘free’ now that Sheen had outed him.
