Samuel Eto’o has hailed Inter coach Leonardo, claiming he has fixed what seemed like a broken season.

Leonardo took over from Rafael Benitez after the Spaniard left the club in December following a series of poor results.

And, since his arrival, the Nerazzurri have steered themselves back on course in Serie A, and are currently five points behind Milan.

Eto’o has praised Leonardo, as the glue holding it all together after injuries cracked the side earlier this season.

“Leonardo makes our job easier,” Eto’o told Eurosport.

“Ever since he became the new Inter coach, the serenity which was missing at the start has returned.

“At the start of the season we had many injuries, and at least nine first-team players were out.

“But, now almost all have returned, apart from Diego Milito.

“Now the good results are coming, and I hope this can continue.”
