Dunne could be back for Villa’s game against Everton on 2 April
Aston Villa defender Richard Dunne has been ruled out for a month with a shoulder injury.
Dunne, 31, suffered the setback during Villa’s defeat by Manchester City in the FA Cup on Wednesday and will miss games against Bolton and Wolves.
Villa boss Gerard Houllier confirmed: “Unfortunately, we’re going to lose Richard Dunne for three to four weeks with a shoulder problem.
“The good thing is, we haven’t got many games during that period.”
Dunne could return after the Premier League’s international break when Villa travel to Goodison Park to face Everton on 2 April.
