Ghana midfielder Rahim Ayew made a winning debut for his side SK Lierse in their 1-0 home win over Charleroi on Saturday.
Ayew was named in the starting line-up and was replaced at the death of the match.
The 22-year-old played in his preferred midfield role and helped Lierse pick the points.
Sonck got the match winner for Trond Solied’s boys in the 13th minute when he capitalized on a half-cleared ball by the visitors and needed a bit of luck to score. Lierse however remain in the relegation zone.
