The local Black Stars squad lost 2-1 to Kenya Premier League side Gor Mahia in their final preparatory match ahead of next month’s CHAN tournament.
New signing Ezekiel Odera scored on his debut with a header and Collins ”Gattuso” Okoth netted the second goal. Ghana’s consolation came from an own goal.
The local Black Stars were without head coach Herbert Addo and five players who joined Aduana Stars for their Caf Champions League tie against Wydad Casablanca.
The home-based national team will leave Kenya on Tuesday and head for Sudan for the African Nations Championship. Ghana are in Group B alongside South Africa, Zimbabwe and Niger.
