Ursula Owusu a member of the NPP on Joy FM has questioned the rationale in having a UK company design a watch for donation by Ghana.
She criticized government for what she says is the cheapening of Ghana’s sovereignty and allowing a British company to exploit Ghana for their own commercial benefit. “Why would the government of Ghana allow itself to be used as a marketing tool?” she quizzed. She would rather a local company is given the opportunity to market itself with such an initiative.
