Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko will unveil continental communication giants MTN as their new sponsors on Wednesday.
The Porcupine Warriors will unveil the lucrative sponsorship package with telecommunication firm who offered the most impressive deal Kotoko’s contract with Tigo expired last month and the Kumasi-based club opted not to extend the deal.
“We cannot disclose figures for now but it’s a sizeable increment in comparison with that of Tigo,” Kwame Baah-Nuakoh, Kotoko management member, said.
The signing ceremony will precede their league match against Ebusua Dwarfs on Wednesday.
MTN are also the current headline sponsors of Kotoko’s arch rivals Hearts of Oak and King Faisal.
