Ghana Football Association deputy General Secretary Emmanuel Gyimah has upped the tempo by claiming he is the best man for the vacant scribe role.
Gyimah is among four contenders who have applied for the job which became available due to the expiration of the contract of Kofi Nsiah.
AshantiGold Chief Executive Officer Kudjoe Fianoo is believed to be the front runner for the job which is also been contested by the administrative secretary of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), Kurt Okraku and another GFA Deputy General Secretary Isaac Addo.
But Gyimah claims his years of experience at the Ghana federation makes him the best candidate for one of the sough after jobs at the FA.
”Yes of course I believe I have worked diligently for the association for some time now and think its time I go up the ladder to bring my rich vein of experience to bear on the job,” Gyimah told Happy FM.
”Mr Nsiah did his best for the FA during his nine-year spell and it time for someone like me to hold the mantle and continue from where he left off.
Meanwhile football consultant Neil Armstrong Mortagbe and Hearts of Oak’s scribe Ashford Tetteh Oku who were heavily linked with the job are out of the race after failing to apply for the job.
