To make the collection resonate more with the concept of “ancestors”, legendary singer Yvonne Chaka Chaka was featured on the official photoshoot of the collection in Paris wearing the brand.
Chaka Chaka is known for her long-spanning career in music and has earned herself the title of “Princess of Africa”.
She has served as an ambassador for various prominent organisations, including the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the Global Fund (dedicated to combating AIDS, TB, and malaria) and the Roll Back Malaria initiative.
Her contributions to these organisations have been crucial in raising both awareness and financial support for numerous humanitarian efforts.
Actress and media personality Pearl Thusi graced the front row seats as well as the DJ decks at the Maxhosa afterparty.
She wore an extravagant gold and black gown, which featured exaggerated hips and armour-like structure. She paired the dress with classic black heels and kept her hairstyle simple with a cute bun.
