Five people were killed and six were injured on Sunday following a shooting incident at a tavern in the Bronkhorstspruit area in Gauteng.
Police spokesperson Brigadier Brenda Muridili says that, according to witnesses, two men known in the community entered the tavern and demanded that one of the patrons hand over his licensed firearm.
