South Africa is one of the nations with the highest prevalence of HIV/AIDS in the world. Despite the fact that several awareness programs have been established to ensure that the public is well-informed about the virus, there are still a significant number of uneducated individuals.

Some South African celebrities who are HIV-positive have courageously revealed their status in order to raise awareness and encourage others to test themselves.
