Dr. Thato Mosehle is from Stilfontein in the North West province. She came in second place at the Miss South Africa beauty pageant.

In 2018, she got her medical degree from the University of the Free State. After that, she did an internship at the Tshepong Hospital in Klerksdorp. She posted her video for Miss South Africa 2020 on May 17, 2020, and it got a lot of attention.

In a video posted on the Miss South Africa Instagram page, Mosehle says that the success stories of patients who have been released and are healthy enough to go home are what keep her going as a frontline worker in the epidemic.

3. Tamaryn Green, Ph.D.

Dr. Tamaryn Green was crowned Miss South Africa 2018 and came in second place at the Miss Universe 2018 competition, which was held in Thailand.

Last year, she worked as a frontline worker in Johannesburg. There, she also used her social media accounts to spread the word about COVID-19.

Heerden is now a medical doctor in Gauteng for the South African National Defense Force (SANDF) and a TV host for Health Matters on ENCA. She has made more people aware of COVID-19 and the national rules that must be followed to fight it through her social media platforms and TV show.
