Dloz’lami is a show that is hosted by Thembi Nyathi who doubles as the medium. This Tuesday evening she met up with Mpho whose problems were only increasing with no happy endings in sight. A sick mother to boot made her situation worse
However, once her husband was given the chance to speak, it became awkward.
She received a verbal spanking from her deceased husband who was asking pressing questions. He asked her why his child hadn’t been home to his family. He asked her why she had moved from their home and most importantly, if she wasn’t involved in his death, why did his family think so? It was looming over consultation like a dark cloud.
It made sense to me that if a man dies in a suspicious manner and there was muthi on his body, his wife must be involved. It’s not a statement I make recklessly. I often defend women from these claims. But Mpho was avoiding questions, dodging them like a game of hurdles and her shiftiness in general made her a prime suspect.

Personal Thoughts
Mpho, who was also kicked out of her grandmother’s house, seems to be the problem here. She had two sets of ancestors angry with her and the way she carries herself. Even if she wasn’t consulting to harm her husband, the secrecy behind it makes me suspect that something dark was going on. If she hadn’t distanced herself and her child, Lwandle from his family, perhaps no one would have suspected her of bad doings.
